Flying Monkeys Auditory Processing Packet!

Hey everyone!  I am super excited about this new activity packet which targets various auditory processing skills including auditory association, auditory reception, and auditory memory!!


INCLUDED:


A poster with various listening tips


Game 1: 24 cards: Listening for the main idea8 “wild” cards 


Game 2:

36 cards: “Which is” phrases. Each card has a point value of 1, 2 or 3.
9 “wild” cards”
4 mats for students to track their earned points

Game 3:

32 cards: Listening for details8 “wild” cards




HOW TO PLAY:

Game 1:Students take turns reading or listening to sentences on the cards. If they correctly figure out what the situation or sentence is about, they keep the card. If chosen, follow the directions on the included wild cards. The student with the most cards at the end of the game is the winner! 

Game 2:Students take turns reading or listening to “which is” phrases. When the phrase is correctly answered, the student either collects the card or marks the number of points on his/her mat. Once the game is finished, students should total their points. Whoever has the most points wins! 




Game 3:Student take turns reading or listening to sentences and the accompanying questions. When a question is answered correctly, the student collects the card. Watch out for the wild cards! The student with the most cards at the end of the game wins!
